In 2012, Kathy decided to leave her career in public accounting and begin a new career as a Human Resources Manager for a local manufacturing company. Having a background in Accounting, Kathy also played a role in the Accounting Department and as fate would have it, Leigh was the Accountant.  The two quickly became friends after bonding over their mutual love of spreadsheets.  That friendship has endured the test of time and has weathered many storms. Both Kathy and Leigh eventually found themselves as members of the sandwich generation and had increased demands on their time, juggling aging parents, children, jobs and marriages.  Out of these demands Summit Ledger Services, LLC was birthed.  Having experienced the ever increasing responsibilities and balancing of obligations, we understand the demands that are on you as a business owner.  We want to come alongside you and help alleviate some of your stress.  Your business is your passion, but accurate record keeping plays a vital role in the success of your business.  That is where we come in!
